TWO goals apiece from attackers Adam Baker and Josh Greening saw title-chasing Tadcaster Albion see off third-placed Handsworth Parramore 4-1 on another happy trip to Sandy Lane.

The notable result not only kept kept Taddy second in the table behind leaders Worksop Town on goal-difference, albeit having played more games than the sides around them, but also dented Parramore's own good record.

Brewers boss Billy Miller made two changes to the side that drew with Albion Sports as Gary Stevens recovered from illness and Gregg Anderson was handed his debut, Leon Wrigglesworth and Nick Black dropping out.

Parramore had the first effort at goal as Daniel Buttle blazed over but Taddy should then have broken the deadlock as Greening pulled the ball back to Adam Baker, who skied his shot over from 12 yards.

Jimmy Beadle saw a powerful 30-yard free-kick comfortably saved by David Ratcliffe before Tadcaster did open the scoring.

Baker drove down the right and crossed for Greening, unchallenged by Handsworth captain Richard Adams, to step back and fire into the bottom corner.

The Brewers soon netted again as Jason Mycoe headed home a Dan Clayton cross but the goal was controversially ruled out for a push.

Taddy should again have scored just past the hour-mark. Greening did superbly to keep the ball in play and deliver an inviting cross but the unmarked Jimmy Beadle headed narrowly over from close range.

Their second finally came two minutes before half-time. Baker cut inside a defender and hammered a rasping shot home from 22 yards.

The Ambers had the majority of possession in the third quarter but struggled to break down Taddy’s back line, with Anderson, alongside Matt Heath at centre-back, showing why he was playing Conference North football a few months ago.

Beadle had another golden chance to put the game to bed as Greening played a slick reverse through ball but his strike partner's snapshot was well saved.

But the third goal did arrive midway through the half - and it was a pearler.

Greening's attempted chip bounced off keeper David Ratcliffe's shoulder and seemingly away from danger. But Baker sprinted to the loose ball and audaciously lobbed the gloveman with a sensational piece of skill.

Parra notched a late consolation as Jon Froggatt guided in a rebound, but The Brewers had the last word in injury time.

Josh Barrett, who had given the home left-back a torrid time, slotted in fellow substitute Carl Stewart, and, although he was thwarted by the keeper, Barrett fired the ball straight back to Stewart, who back-heeled it past Ratcliffe to Greening, who slotted it through the legs of the hapless defender on the line.

In division one, Selby Town had a ding-ding game at fifth-placed Emley - being denied an excellent three points in a dramatic finale.

Ashley Flynn gave the hosts an early lead but Danny Norton equalised in the opening quarter and Luke Anderson put the Robins ahead on 74 minutes.

Kieran Ryan made it 2-2 in the 82nd minute before Craig Muirhead thought he'd won it for Selby with two minutes left.

However, as the clock ticked down Ryan got his second to level matters at 3-3.

Harrogate Railway pulled off a great late win in Evo-Stik League division one north, beating Droylsden 3-2 on their own turf.

Ryan Sharrocks' early goal for Rail was cancelled out as James Hampson and Lee O'Brien hit back in the second half.

Dan Barrett made it 2-2, though, and Stephen Bromley got Railway's winner four minutes from time.

Scarborough Athletic left it even later to edge past basement side New Mills in a dramatic finale.

Mayowa Ajahi had given the strugglers the lead just before the hour-mark - but Alex Metcalfe scored twice in stoppage time for Boro to win it.
