SNAITH moved level on points with Marcia Grey and York Nomads at the summit of York Sunday Morning Football League division two after a 4-2 win at previously unbeaten NUR.

The home side raced into a three-goal lead, but Ben Spencer and Nathan Cooper hit back for NUR as they went in 3-2 down at half-time.

Snaith dominated the second period, missing a penalty before securing the points with a late goal.

York RI defeated Bishopthorpe United 7-2 with braces from Jake Moyse, Gary Rylance and Dale Holding, along with a Gareth Fisher effort.

Drax edged a seven-goal thriller against Brayton.
