Dunnington continue to move closer to a first York Minster Engineering Football League premier division title in more than 15 years.

They beat hosts York RI 3-1 to nudge their unbeaten run to 25 league games.

Alex Lowe put Dunnington in front and Scott Sullivan – scoring for the fifth game on the trot – doubled their lead before the break. Luke Dove added their third before Liam Keenaghan’s late reply.

Despite away wins for the bottom two sides in the top tier, both Hamilton Panthers and Rowntrees remain in the relegation zone.
