Huntington Rovers stretched their unbeaten run in the Leeper Hare York and District Football League premier division to 14 games - but not without a fright.

The leaders trailed 2-0 at home to Nestle Rowntree, but fought back to earn a 3-3 draw. They restored parity before the break with goals from Chris Dyson and Gary Mitchinson, with both sides scoring an own goal in the second half.

Champions Dringhouses closed the gap to the top by beating T&L Selby 4-2 for their fifth straight home win.

They led 2-0 at the break through Mark Woodward and an own goal and made it four in the second half through Danny Gray and Craig Atkinson before T&L pulled two late goals back. Dringhouses have now not lost to the Selby side in ten matches.

Kartiers chalked up their eighth away game without defeat as they won 3-0 at Copmanthorpe. Glen Littlewood scored in either half with Steve Gillitt adding the third.

Dunnington drew 1-1 Heslington with both teams missing second-half penalties.

Stuart Dickenson put Heslington in front but with his ninth goal of the campaign, Chris Burgess equalising for Dunnington.

Tockwith drew for the third consecutive away game as they salvaged a point from a 1-1 draw at Old Malton. Simon Cooke put Malton ahead but Chris Blakey equalised with a beauty.

Thorpe United beat hosts Pocklington for the second time in two weeks. Craig Whiteley and Ryan Watson headed Thorpe two up before Alan Jackson volleyed home the third into the top corner after waltzing past three defenders. Scott Nicholls' consolation made it 3-1.

Malton & Norton beat York St John's 2-1 to repeat a result from the opening day of the season. The students opened the scoring through Rich Holden but Sam Lander levelled inside a minute and Simon Collins won it 14 minutes from time.
