YORKSHIRE face a daunting chase of 336 against Durham at Headingley as they bid to maintain their winning start to the Royal London Cup.
South Africa Test opener Stephen Cook top-scored with a measured 106 off 114 balls, while Michael Richardson also hit 100 not out off 87 in a total of 335-5 after the visitors had elected to bat.
Cook shared first and second-wicket partnerships of 124 with Keaton Jennings (72) and Richardson.
But the visitors should have actually posted more.
They were 248-1 in the 40th over before losing 4-32 to slip to 280-5.
Matthew Waite claimed two of them on the way to impressive figures of 2-53 from ten overs.
This was the fifth highest List A score record against Yorkshire, who have won their opening two RL50 matches.
