SILVERWARE-CHASING Woodhouse Grange Cricket Club are gearing up for the most important weekend of their season.
The Hunters York & District Senior League premier division leaders take on second-placed Stamford Bridge at their Sutton-on-Derwent base on Saturday, at 1.30pm.
The following day, captain Steve Burdett will lead his side into battle against Dunnington in the semi-finals of the Hunters Premier League Cup, at 2pm.
Holders Grange will be aiming to repeat last year’s final victory over Dunnington.
Spectators are welcomed for both games. Admission and car parking is free. A bar and cricket teas will be available.
