RIPON thrashed bottom-of-the-table Selby by 251 runs at Studley Road in Hunters York & District Senior League Division One.

The visitors, who have now lost all three of their matches, had no answer as Josh Crewe made an unbeaten 151 and his brother Ben 94 out of 292-1.

The league basement boys were bowled out for a paltry 41 in reply as Jake Briscombe (4-23) and Paul Ainsley (4-16) were their tormentors in chief.

Heworth were comfortable winners by four wickets at home to Beverley Town.

Tom Hudson (53) top-scored in the visitors' 175, with Alfie Oliver (3-34) and Will Huffer (3-43) each taking three wickets.

The reply was a shared effort, with Will Etty (37no), Nick Brunner (37) and Chris Barratt (35) all contributing to the successful run chase.

There was a close finish at Dringhouses, where the hosts overhauled Harrogate with less than two overs to spare.

Chasing 231 to win, Sam Lingard made 42, but it was an unbeaten 91 from Chris Evans that secured a first win for last season's Ebor champions, despite four wickets from Harry Stothard (4-56).

That all came in reply to the visitors' 230-7 in which Stothard was also heavily involved, making a half-century to go with an unbeaten 57 from Ed McNicholas and 41 from Jordan Marshall.

The points were shared between Folkton & Flixton and Hull after Fergus Wilkinson (66no) and Dan Mould (32no) made sure their side's trip north didn't go unrewarded.

Will Norman (86) and Natt Nesfield (41) helped the home side reach 281-6, with the visitors replying with 221-5.

Sewerby and Knaresborough also fought out a draw, although hosts Knaresborough took the majority of the points after making 227-9.

Sewerby responding with 209-9, while Hull Zingari made it three wins from three by beating Hornsea by 88 runs, the home side being bowled out well short of the visitors' 314-7.
