HOVINGHAM were two-wicket winners over hosts Sheriff Hutton in division three.
A 50-run ninth-wicket partnership by Joe Schofield (40) and Rich Armitage (25) took Sheriff to 146 all out, with Steve Mosey taking 3-36 and Paul Deverill 3-37.
Rich Ainley hit back with 3-15, but Dave Bowling (26) and Will Prest (32) got Hovingham home.
Pocklington beat Scarborough by six wickets, with Geoff Woodward (3-22) and Ian Moorhouses (3-24) bowling the visitors out for 136. Neil Jackson’s 48 led the Pock reply.
Duncombe Park beat Ripon despite being bowled out for 140 by Chris Hazzard (5-39). Jack Cranage (3-17) and Jonathon Leckenby (3-22) dismissed the visitors for 109.
Driffield III took maximum batting points from their draw with bottom side Sessay II. Driffield totalled 213-5, while Yorkshire Ladies’ Jess Watson hit 52 in Sessay’s 143-4.
Carlton Towers made it three wins on the trot, beating Osbaldwick by five wickets.
