ALNE moved level with Easingwold at the top of the Pilmoor Evening Cricket League division two with a 31-run win at Civil Service.
The game was the only one to go ahead as the 11th round of fixtures were severely hit by the weather.
Alne batted first and were all out for 95, W Bell (23) and L Cox (22) being their top scorers, while Richard Brown was the pick of the home bowlers, returning 3-19.
The Civil Service reply was hampered by several run outs and faded away to 64 all out, with Simon Desborough (20) the only batsman to threaten the Alne total.
Meanwhile, all matches were washed out in the Foss Evening League. Stamford Bridge were the only team to pick up points as Pocklington had already conceded.
