LUTON TOWN boss Gary Brabin said York City’s late goal at Kenilworth Road was “hard to take”.
“When you are so close to Wembley, you want to reach out and touch it and I thought it was a really positive first half performance,” he said.
“It was a good atmosphere and a good tempo and I thought we could really go on from strength to strength.
“In the second half, apart from a 15 minute period after half-time where we didn’t seem to be able to get out of our half, we got back into the game, got on top and had enough chances to further the lead.
“It wasn’t to be. To concede the goal in the last minute is really hard to take. My job is now to try to lift the players.”
