YORK City conjured a stoppage time winner to beat Grimsby Town 3-2 at Blundell Park in the Blue Square Bet Premier.
The Minstermen led 2-0 after 47 minutes and looked comfortable, only for the hosts to pull back to 2-2 with nine minutes remaining.
Then Jamal Fyfield struck the winner three minutes into stoppage time to clinch three vital points and push City back into the play-off zone.
The Minstermen took the lead on 19 minutes through Jamie Reed and the visitors doubled their lead when skipper Chris Smith stabbed home from close range two minutes after the break.
However, the Mariners pulled a goal back through Anthony Elding on 74 minutes and levelled through Michael Coulson with nine minutes left.
