FARMEARYS united paved the way for success for Cueball over Burnholme in the York John Smith’s Ladies Darts League division one.

Tracey Farmeary (2 x 100) and her daughter Natalie (140 and 88 checkout for 21 darts) won the opening legs for Cueball.

Burnholme responded with captain Marj Pearson hitting a maximum to narrow the gap. Wins for Dawn Scott, Toni Smallwood and Caroline Whittaker enabled them to enter the pairs all square.

But the snooker club side showed their strength as Natalie and Tina Platt set up the decider where Tracey combined with Jayne Janes to snatch a well-earned win.

Julie Judson closed 60 in the pairs with Paula Smith to give Beeswing the edge at Walnut Tree. Sophie Simpson and Carol Perrett levelled before Nikki Judson and Chris Hayward sealed victory for Wing.

Lynn Thompson and Michelle Britton gave Cygnet a good start at Tramways ‘B’, who had Jo Hodges 125, 121 excelling as they went into the pairs with a 4-2 advantage. Britton hit the tons as she and Anne Bass set up a decider which saw Thompson partnering Tina Lane seal victory.

Ox captain Sandra Bruce checked in 23 arrows, but an 82 check-out from Flag ‘A’ captain Sarah Jackson secured the match points.

In division two, Anne Keswick (50) finished and a 48 check by Tap colleague Ann Lewis inspired them to a 6-3 triumph at hosts St Paul’s.

Clifton took a 4-2 advantage into the pairs at Acomb whose Sarah Rankeillor and Lisa Gatenby and then Kate Rankeillor and Rose Gray levelled.

Clifton captain Kerry-Ann Gray (121) was joined by last season’s player of the season Alison Walker to secure the tightest win.

Severus captain Glynnis Simpson closed on 64 to inspire her team to a clean sheet at Shepherd ‘A’.

Debbie Witts and Janet Nelson sealed victory for Leeman ‘A’ at the expense of division three rivals Shepherd ‘B’.

Margaret Forth checked double two with Red Lion colleague Jackie Young to secure victory in the deciding leg against visitors Slip.

Dick Turpin bagged a 6-3 win at Jubilee. Beagle won by the same margin at CH Ox’s expense.

Final pairing Chris Turgoose and Freda Harman snatched a last-game win against Swan whose captain Kathy Evans hit the tons.

Mount’s win was in the deciding leg, Joyce Kane and Gemma Hall securing victory against Acomb ‘B’.
