YORK City’s FA Trophy quarter-final clash at Barrow tonight was called off because the Bluebirds Holker Street ground is frozen.
And talks between the two clubs to move the tie back another 24 hours until tomorrow could well be dashed with a forecast of even more severe weather tonight and tomorrow for Cumbria.
If the tie does not beat the freeze tomorrow then it will be put back until next Tuesday, March 2.
