LIAM Jenkins and Kirk Bevins are the latest qualifiers for the finals of the £1,000 York Open Darts competition.
Jenkins progressed to the top half final after beating Lawrie Morgan 3-1 in the qualifiers, checking out on 130 in the first leg and then producing legs of 19 and 20 darts.
En route to the final Jenkins beat Steve Smith 3-1 and Pip Hair 3-2, while Morgan ousted Dave Smith 3-0 and Simon Rimmington 3-0.
Bevins won three legs in a row – in 18, 19 and 21 darts – to beat Phil Good 3-1 and reach the bottom half final. Good checked out 126 to win the first leg.
Bevins had earlier beaten Liam Blows 3-2 and Ben McCarthy 3-2, while Good got the better of Tina Lane 3-1 and Iain Smith 3-2.
The third qualifier will be staged at the Crescent WMC tomorrow.
