Danny Smith and a friend have each won one of the signed York City T-shirts donated by the club in a competition run by The Press.
The two readers received the prize after purchasing a copy of The Press at our city-centre stand in Coney Street yesterday.
City, their rugby league counterparts York City Knights and Sandburn Hall Golf Club, sited on the Flaxton road, just off the A64, all provided prizes for the week-long promotion in conjunction with The Press. The competition has now ended.
Other winners of the signed City shirts were Mr Pugh from York (who won at Piccadilly), Mrs M Richmond from York (who won on Coney Street) and Mrs Walton of Malton Road (who won at Picadilly).
