YORK City manager Martin Foyle has swooped to sign former Havant and Waterlooville striker Richard Pacquette and Shrewsbury left-back James Meredith.

The Minstermen have also permanently recruited last season's on-loan midfielder Levi Mackin, who was released by Wrexham this week.

Meredith was on loan at City's FA Trophy semi-final opponents Telford last season while Pacquette played for Maidenhead United in Blue Square South.
