SUPER sub Onome Sodje salvaged a “fantastic” point for York City as they drew 1-1 at Forest Green Rovers in the Blue Square Premier last night.
Sodje struck in the 85th minute at the New Lawn to snatch an unlikely point after Kaid Mohamed’s 41st minute opener for the hosts.
City boss Martin Foyle said: “It is a fantastic point that I would have taken before the game, but I thought we were lacklustre. We gave the ball away cheaply and there were four or five well below par.
“The level of consistency in the squad got Colin Walker the sack and I won’t be letting the players do that to me. Performances like that heap the pressure on.”
