A GOAL in each half from top scorer Richard Brodie earned York City a 2-0 victory over crisis club Weymouth.
Brodie headed the first in the 23rd minute of the Blue Square Premier clash at KitKat Crescent, but there was to be no repeat of the Terras' 9-0 thrashing by Rushden.
The Minstermen had to wait until the final minute to make certain of the points, with Brodie again scoring with his head.
The sides are due to meet again at the Wessex Stadium on Thursday after the game was brought forward four weeks.
