BACK IN TOWN: Matty Turnbull, right, has returned to Pickering Town from Scarborough Athletic following a lack of game time
PICKERING Town have re-signed Matty Turnbull from Scarborough Athletic.
The defender signed for the Seadogs in November 2016, but has since struggled for game time, and no longer featured in boss Steve Kittrick's plans.
He previously scored 11 goals and became an integral part of the team in one and a half seasons with Pickering.
Turnbull praised the Scarborough Athletic fans but said his focus now was on helping the Pikes towards promotion from the Northern Counties East League premier division.
He goes straight into Paul Marshall's squad to face Barton Town tomorrow.
