OLD Malton St Mary's will have slight 'home' advantage in the North Riding County FA Saturday County Cup final as it will be played up the A169 at Pickering Town’s Mill Lane ground.
The final, against high-flying York Minster Engineering League premier division rivals Huntington Rovers, is to be played next Wednesday, March 15 (7.30pm).
Both teams have tough league clashes beforehand - St Mary's facing second-placed Dringhouses on Saturday while third-placed Huntington meet leaders Wigginton Grasshoppers needing to win to have any real chance of catching them at the top.
Saints are the reigning champions but slipped off the pace earlier in the season after too many draws.
Huntington will run a coach to the final, leaving Huntington Sports and Social Club at 5.30pm. Supporters are welcome and are asked to book seats, costing £10 per person, by phoning Eric Dower on 01904 769726, or seeing any Rovers team manager.
