FULFORDGATE's Michelle Britton was the star of the week - hitting an 18 dart game which included a maximum and a 109 check out.

Britton also hit a maximum in the pairs during the York John Smith's Ladies Darts League division one match at Ox 'B' which ended 7-2 in Fulfordgate's favour.

Burnholme's Marj Pearson won with 23 darts including a 140 score to level their match against visitors Ox ‘A’ whose Caz Johnson, Abbie Scott and Linda Staveley won. However, a clean sweep in the pairs by the home team secured a 6 -3 result.

Marcia were victors by the same margin at Priory with Ellen Platt, Di Moreland, and Babs Harrison winning for the home side. Linda Penrose (2x100), Sue Smith and Sharon Rishworth levelled before Marcia polished off all the pairs and Penrose hit her third century of the night.

Anthea Jamieson, Chris Lamb, and Emma Frankland won their individuals for Edinburgh at Leeman ‘B’ before Brenda Dawe, Julie Oliver, and Heather Bulmer tied the match. Dawe/Maggie Bedingham edged the home team ahead and colleagues Tracey Yeomans/Vicki Capes sealed match points with a 55 checkout.

Laura Gatenby and Sarah Rankeillor set Clockhouse on their way to victory at Saddle.Vicky McClaren and Sharon Nelson replied. However Lisa Benton and Rose Gray enabled an understrength ‘House to enter the pairs with a 4-2 advantage. Rankeillor was joined by sister-in-law Kate as the secured a 4 – 5 victory.

Ann Parkyn and Doreen Johnstone gave Nags a head start against visitors Severus ‘B’ who hit back courtesy of Sue Gillon and Angie Kaya. Elaine Metcalfe edged the home side ahead, Dot Sellars levelled, before teaming up with Linda Goldsmith to put the visitors in command. Team-mates Gillon/Michelle Kelly secured match points.

Sisters Cris and Linda Turgoose and colleague Karen Hodgson gave Clifton a good start before Denise Pittock put visitors Leeman ‘A’ on the score sheet. It turned out to be their only singles point as Freda Harman and Alice Turgoose secured match points. The visitors took two of the remaining games to go down 6-3.

Burton won by the same margin against visitors Green Tree.
