ENTRIES are now being taken for York’s annual Super 7 bowls competition.
The competition, which is open to all clubs from the YABA, C&IU, Veterans, Ladies and Mixed leagues, sees a format of two pairs and one triple per team.
The pairs will play 16 ends and the triples 15 ends in group matches and knockout stages. In the final, pairs play 20 ends and triples 18.
Entries close on August 8, with group matches expected to start in the week of Monday, August 15, depending on the number of admissions. The competition culminates in a grand final likely to be played in early September.
