THREE generations of a hockey-playing family took to the field at City of York Hockey Club as opposition for the club's Badgers men's team in an end-of-season match.
It also marked the final game for Tony Perryman after 61 years in the sport.
Tony, from Worcester, was joined by son Pete and grandsons Zak and Josh, who all play for York, and another grandson who travelled from Holland to take part in the game.
Pete’s wife, Jo, also plays at York but was away playing with the North of England ladies.
Tony began playing hockey at Cornwall College in 1955 and has played Masters hockey in 17 different countries.
Thanks to the York club, he was able to play alongside his family in a final hurrah.
