SIMON DYSON closed out golf's inaugural Made In Denmark tournament with a welcome return to form.

The York-born golfer survived the half way cut by the skin of his teeth on Friday night, squeezing through by one stroke on four over having initially appeared to be heading home when the cut mark was projected at three over.

He took advantage of that reprieve to card a one under par 70 on Saturday, shooting him up to joint 26th on the leaderboard.

And he built on that with a final round of 69, following a run of nine pars on the front nine with three birdies in the first six holes of the back nine.

A bogey at the 15th pulled him back to two under for the day and one over for the tournament at the Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort in Aalborg.

That earned the Malton & Norton Golf Club star a share of 22nd place.
