JAKE BUTTERFIELD, who has ridden three winners in the last week, has good prospects of adding to his tally at Redcar this afternoon.

The Norton-based apprentice teams-up with Jacbequick, trained by his boss Ollie Pears, in the Racing UK Straight-Mile Championship Handicap (qualifier).

Butterfield has struck up a great association with Jacbequick, winning on him three times this season, all at Beverley.

This race, run over a straight mile, presents a totally different challenge, but Jackbequick is improving with every race and, even with a 6lb penalty, he should go well in the feature race.

Sunny Side Up may prove the answer to the Racing UK IPad App Handicap over six furlongs and is sportingly napped to take the honours.

The five-year-old won four races for Richard Fahey and is now with Karen Tutty. She has yet to get her in front for her new trainer, but she has run well lately, finishing third at Carlisle and fifth at Ayr, where she got little luck in running. It would hardly be a shock to see her score here off a mark 11lb lower than her last win for Fahey in 2012.

Yorksters Prince, who loves this course and went down fighting here last week, deserves attention in the Download The Racing IPad App Selling Stakes.

Shirley Teasdale takes the mount on the seven-year-old, trained at Stillington by Marjorie Fife.

Also worth noting at the seaside course are the promising Giovanni Jack (3.50) and A J Cook (5.35), a previous winner at this venue.

The highlight on day two of Glorious Goodwood is the £300,000 Quipco Sussex Stakes. in which Kingman and Toronado go head-to-head in a fascinating clash of the generations.

Kingman, winner of the Irish 2,000 Guineas, has since produced an electric performance to easily land the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot, where Toronado won the Queen Anne Stakes in similarly eye-catching style.

Toronado won this Group 1 race last year as a three-year-old, beating Dawn Approach. Kingham is the three-year-old this time and James Doyle's mount is fancied to have the measure of his older rival, to be ridden by Richard Hughes.

Mark Johnston, who has such a tremendous record at the Sussex course, can get punters off to a good start with Maid In Rio in the Goodwood Handicap.

The three-year-old has gone from strength to strength this season and won with something in hand at Haydock on latest start.

She stays extremely well and this marathon event should suit her, especially with bottom weight. Johnston won this last year with Broxbourne and is fancied to do so again with Maid In Rio, the mount of Joe Fanning.

The classy Snow Sky, trained by Sir Michael Stoute, pictured, has leading claims in the Neptune Investment Management Gordon Stakes, while Aidan O'Brien's talented Ballydoyle raider Highland Reel may be the one to be on in the Veuve Clicquot Vintage Stakes, though a note should be made of Tupi, winner of his only race and trained by Richard Hannon, Goodwood's course specialist.
