High five for Chris Wright in Landyacht Championships
YORK Landyachting Club’s Chris Wright conjured a masterclass to win all five races at the second round of the British Landyacht Championships at Brean near Weston-super-Mare.
Club-mate Martyn Macdonald, who was leading the championship going to Brean, only completed one lap before crashing out, while Martin Leach survived two spins to finish fifth.
The next round will be at Elvington Airfield in May.
