TADCASTER Albion extended their lead at the top of the Northern Counties East League premier division with a 2-1 win at Maltby Main.

The Brewers are now five points clear of Barton Town Old Boys, but the second-placed side have three games in hand.

Carl Stewart gave the visitors a 20th minute lead and although the hosts levelled before the break, Calum Ward hit the winner in on 55 minutes.

Scarborough Athletic were 3-0 home winners over Carlton Town in division one south thanks to a nine minute hat-trick from Gary Bradshaw, who opened the scoring with a 68th minute penalty.
