OSBALDWICK defeated Hamilton Panthers 3-2 to keep up the pressure on division one leaders Tadcaster Magnets.

Matt Hattee put Osbaldwick into the lead from the penalty spot on 21 minutes before Harry Cartledge doubled the lead just after the restart.

Panthers fought back, though, and a header from Mark Willoughby was followed by a stunning Daniel Pedras free-kick to make it all-square.

With Panthers looking the more likely winners, they fell to a long ball sucker punch as Tom Wheatland hit Osbaldwick’s winner in the dying moments of the game.

Hemingbrough moved up to fourth with a 4-2 win over third-placed Brooklyn. Luke Zacharenko hit a hat-trick for the hosts with Tom Collins scoring their fourth.

Mikey Brown bagged a brace for Brooklyn. Amos Laverack scored a late equaliser for Total Sports United in their 1-1 draw with Pocklington Town.
