The promotion race in York Minster Engineering League division two continues to heat up with the top three sides all taking maximum points.
F1 Racing edged a competitive game with Strensall, finally emerging 5-3 winners after a spirited second-half performance from the travelling side.
Neil Yeowart (2) and Jon Giordano gave F1 a commanding 3-0 half-time lead before Mike Taylor increased the deficit early in the second period.
Strensall then hit three excellent goals to make a game of it.
Jack Bell, Joe Davison and Charlie Coupland all found the target in quick succession.
However, Giordano’s second of the game sealed the points for the leaders.
Bishopthorpe United got the better of Barmby Moor 4-2.
Liam Booth and Jamie Sedman bagged the Barmby Moor goals.
Thorpe United put five past lowly Wilberfoss without reply.
David Reasbeck and Dean Wood bagged a pair each with substitute Byron Summers capping off the win.
