This live event has finished
Well, what about that. I'm exhausted I don't know about you.
A break of 59 from Robbo, yet another fight back from Bingham, but it is the world number one who scrapes over the line and into the final.
Stay with me and I will hopefully bring you some quotes from the two participants very shortly.
Apologies for the lack of updates. Right up against deadline for the newspaper. But we are going to a decider and you'd have to think it was Bingham who would have all the momentum.
He was five frames behind. Now he is level.
Robertson's barely had a shot for the last couple of frames but slams in a red to the yellow pocket. Doesn't look like he is going to get much further though.
Bingham is in yet again, makes 49 but misses a black to a corner pocket.
And he has pulled another one back, with a break of 86 to boot. It's 8-6. Can Bingham deliver an unthinkable comeback.
The brown is in and it is now 8-5.
Which Bingham plays off and flukes the green!
38 break from Robertson. Bingham leads 61-42 and we are in the colours.
Brilliant long yellow goes in from Beil and he leaves Stuart tucked in on the brown.
Robertson jaws a shot to nothing, but Bingham misses a routine ball in reply. Too many of those today from Ballrun.
Bingham runs out off position on 56 and plays safe, but he is currently in command of the frame.
Bingham in off but Robertson misses a long red to the right corner.
come on Bingham you can do it.. #Snooker #UKChampionship— @AlexFower 06 December 2013
We are back out once more. Can Stuart pull off the biggest comeback since...er...Shaun Murphy last year?
A quickfire break of 85 from Bingham means it is 8-4 at the mid-session interval and we will have to return. That'll please the crowd.
Bingham in the balls now. Will he take the match past the mid-session interval?
There's no stopping Robertson at the moment. A break of 81 and he is one away from victory at 8-3.
Stuart is under serious pressure now, and it is showing. Threw his cue at an easy red and bounced it out. Neil needs to put the hammer down now.
7-3 to Robertson, looking good for the Australian and ominous for Bingham #snooker— @SnookerHQ 06 December 2013
Neil Robertson 7 (17) 3 Stuart Bingham. Looks like we can go to bed early. #Snooker— @PseudoRolf 06 December 2013
Bingham had a big chance there but he has blown it. After Robertson played a poor safety, he finally got in among the balls.
After he ran out of position, though, he tried to slot a difficult red back across the table into the left corner pocket.
He missed and Neil produced a 41 to take the frame. That's a 7-3 lead and a hammer blow for Bingham.
Robertson turning the screw. He's extracted 20 points in fouls and is 55-0 up in the 10th frame.
He looked fluent there, but over ran on a red and had to play safe. Robertson 34-0 up.
Another poor safety from Bingham and Neil will be in again.
Brilliant double on the pink, the length of the table, and Robertson moves 6-3 ahead.
That's a body blow for Stuart.
Bingham 13 behind with 13 on the table.
Into the colours, Bingham makes a mistake on the yellow and Robertson goes through colours only to miss the pink!
27 break, a safety and an 8 point lead for Bingham.
He didn't on the first visit but he's got another chance after a Robertson safety goes wrong.
Didn't see that coming. Robertson, going through the balls, misses an easy black on 39.
Can Bingham bag the first frame?
One of the greatest spells of snooker of last season came in the last session of the Friday semi-final last year of course...— @CueActionBlog 06 December 2013
The evening session is now under way.
Good break of 78 from Bingham in the last frame of the session means he trails Robertson 5-3. They resume at 7pm, first to nine #snooker— @WorldSnooker1 06 December 2013
He's pulled it out of the bag too. Super break of 78. It's 5-3 Robertson at half-way.
Neil won this frame... Bingham didn't earn green and Robertson did... 5-2 one more frame on this session #snooker #ukchampionship— @Nice_Pullman 06 December 2013
robbo now 5-2 up after a really crazy frame... #snooker #ukchampionship— @Julia2688 06 December 2013
Last frame of the afternoon session coming up. Bingham really needs this one.
Bingham has left the green in the jaws of the corner pocket, and Robertson needs no further invitation. It's 5-2 now.
He's missed the green to the middle pocket. But Neil is snookered behind the brown.
He hits the green and leaves the white tight on the top cushion.
But not for long. Thanks to a couple of fiendish snookers, and a free ball, Bingham can rob Robertson of this one. Will he?
Robertson in charge of the seventh frame with effort of 68. Bingham needs snookers.
Lengthy frame, could have gone either way, and it is Robertson who takes it, he is now 4-2 up on Bingham and the next is suddenly a big frame for the Essex potter.
It's an opportunity he takes. He makes 86 and Neil now leads 3-2. The match has turned around.
Super long pot from Bingham, but he misses the black and now Neil is at he table again. This is the first real chance he has had to get in front in the match.
Ruthless Robertson has done it again. Takes the last two reds and cleans the colours. It's 2-2 at the mid-session interval.
Fourth frame and already a big one. It's 55-32 in Bingham's favour.
Bingham storms back into the lead and with a century to boot. An effort of 124 and he leads again 2-1.
would like to see robbo winning the #snooker #ukchampionship now, deserves that after a brilliant first half of the season!— @mics147 06 December 2013
Bingham leaves a red over a corner pocket with a 40-point lead and Robertson punishes him - clearing up to make it 1-1. Good start to the semi so far.
Good start for Stuart Bingham. Break of 72 should secure him the first frame.
I could watch snooker all day ... Oh right I am going to watch snooker all day :D— @BarclayBeales 06 December 2013
