Malton and Pickering meet in snooker showdown

MALTON Cons ‘C’ and Pickering Cons ‘A’ will meet in the final of the Norton & District Snooker League’s Hope & Anchor Trophy after both edged semi-finals 3-2.

The former beat Malton Cons ‘A’, Phil Hart beating Steve Pawson in the deciding frame. Pickering Cons ‘A’ edged Bright Steels with Lee Taylor shining with a break of 32.

The final is at Malton Conservative Club, on March 18.
