Selby Town strive for third consecutive win

IN a storming turnaround, Selby Town host Worsbrough Bridge in the Northern Counties East League first division striving for their third consecutive win.

Previously the Robins had gone 15 games without a victory.

In their previous League game Selby thrashed mid-table Hallam 4-0 and the result should give Town the confidence to go on and repeat the success against Worsbrough.

Selby sit eight points from safety with 16 games remaining, as manager Ian Dring bids to mastermind what would be a great escape.

NCEL top-tier leaders Scarborough Athletic play host to Nostell Miners Welfare tomorrow who pulled off a surprise victory over Tadcaster Albion in their previous game.

With a win Scarborough can edge closer to being crowned champions.

Harrogate Town, who drew 1-1 with Droylsden on Tuesday, travel to Gloucester City tomorrow in the Blue Square Bet North.

The rivals are separated by only five points.

Harrogate Railway Athletic entertain Evo-Stik League division one North high-fliers Trafford, off the back of a 0-0 draw with Ossett Town. The Rail lost the away fixture 4-0.
