Squash: Dunnington oust city rivals Wigginton

DUNNINGTON were 4-1 winners over Minster city rivals IT Sports Wigginton in the Yorkshire Squash League premier division.
Manager Ian Tooms, making a rare start for Wiggy, was beaten 3-2 by youngster Sam Burton, before the match of the night saw number four Jon Duffield beat Dunnington’s Dan Bushby in a five-set thriller.
Wigginton, who were missing their numbers one and two, moved Simon Myring up the order to number three, where he lost 3-1 to Dan Hackborn.
Despite playing well, number three Ed Shannon lost in five sets to Richard Birks, while number one Chris Rusling was whitewashed 3-0 by Chris Tasker.
