Darts: East coast duo pick up star prize

Pickering Recreation Club’s Open Pairs Competition was won by Scarborough’s Graham Usher and Ollie Mitchell.

They won the £200 prize money by beating Alan Dawson and Graham Love, of Pickering, 4-0 in the final.

Phillip Taylor won the highest finish prize with a score of 110, for which he earned £20.

The beaten semi-finalists were Graham Elvidge and Jim Gordon, of Scarborough, and Pickering’s Steve Dawson and Martin Cook.
