Festive meeting at Wetherby Racecourse

WETHERBY Racecourse stage their Christmas Carol meeting on Saturday with a a seven-race programme starting at 12.10pm.
A trio of races offering prize money of £10,000 are featured – the Constant Security Novices’ Chase, the totepool Handicap Chase and the totepool Handicap Hurdle.
The Christmas lights at the racecourse will be switched on and there will be music from a brass ensemble, while members of the Wetherby Musical Theatre Group will be singing carols.
A free shuttle bus service between Wetherby bus station and the racecourse, will operate every 20 minutes from 10.45am, and then for up to an hour after racing.
