Ian Dring named as new Selby Town manager

FORMER Nottingham Forest and Mansfield player Ian Dring has been named the new manager of Selby Town.

Ex-Rossington Main boss Dring, who also played for Maltby Main, Parkgate and Garforth Town, takes over at Flaxley Road with the club bottom of Northern Counties East League division one.

Dring, who is keen to recruit new players after succeeding Phil Jones, starts his reign with a tough test away to leaders Athersley Recreation on Saturday.
