THIEVES have targeted two commercial units in Selby, stealing power tools earlier this month.
The sites on Turvers Lane and Manor Road were hit between Saturday, October 11 and Monday, October 13, and the thieves took power tools manufactured by Makita, Hilty and Husqvarna including a laser leveller, a power washer, drills, grinders and a generator. Also stolen were two-way radios and a Karrimor rucksack.
Now Selby police are appealing for information and PC Jack Waterton said: “If you saw any unusual activity or suspicious behaviour in the areas where the burglaries occurred, I urge you to come forward and contact the police straight away.
“I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have been offered the stolen property and ask them to get in touch as soon as possible.”
Anyone who can help should contact Selby police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Jack Waterton, email jack.waterton@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting reference number 12140176533.
