TOOLS have been stolen in a burglary at a property in North Yorkshire.
It happened at a property in Esplanade Gardens, Scarborough, that at the time was under renovation, North Yorkshire Police said.
The stolen property includes: Two green and black Hitachi cordless drills A green and black Hitachi cordless jigsaw A green and black Hitachi impact screwdriver A green and black Hitachi radio A Hitachi battery charger Two Hitachi batteries The force is asking for the public's help to establish the full circumstances surrounding the burglary, which happened between 4pm on June 15 and 8am on June 18.
A police spokesman said: "In particular, we are appealing for information from anyone who witnessed anything untoward in the Esplanade Gardens area at the time. This incident took place over a weekend and seeing workmen or others in the area with power tools may have stood out.
"Police are also appealing for anyone who may have been offered any power tools for sale around this time to contact them."
