VANDALS have damaged half a dozen cars in a North Yorkshire street this week.
Police have appealed for witnesses or information after six cars had their wing mirrors damaged in Avenue Road, Scarborough, between 10pm on Wednesday and 5am on Thursday.
The vehicles damaged were an Audi A3, a Mini One, a Peugeot 207, Rover 25, Ford Ka and a Skoda Fabia. Detectives said they wanted to speak to a couple who had been seen arguing in the street at about 3am on Thursday.
A police spokesman said the couple were believed to be in their late teens, and may have left the area in the direction of Seamer Road.
The couple and anyone else who can help is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 or email mike.holden@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
