HALF of parents in Yorkshire and Humberside have not talked to their partner about how their children would be looked after if something happened to them, according to research by Legal and General.

The insurer has released its What Would you Say to Your Younger Self? campaign designed to help people see that making the right decisions now can help in the future.

The review of 2,070 British adults shows that 50 per cent of parents in Yorkshire and Humberside have not discussed how their children would be looked after financially should something happen to one or both of them, and another 15 per cent have discussed it, but not done anything about it.
