False alarm over Murton Lane fire
FIRE crews were called to a possible building fire in Murton Lane, York, at about 8.25pm on Monday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire Service said three fire engines were sent to the building, but the smoke which had been reported was due to controlled burning taking place.
