French evening in aid of young carers
FRENCH food and wine, traditional t-shirts and berets and a yellow bicycle all helped to create a Le Tour evening in aid of young carers in Harrogate and Ripon, who look after someone in their family with an illness, disability or addiction.
Andrea Trimmer, President of Soroptimist International Harrogate and District, chose the Young Carers for her charity this year. It provides help and support for young carers through mentoring trips, activities and residential weekends.
The Le Tour evening - organised by the Soroptimist International Harrogate and District - raised over £300 for the charity.
