Knaresborough Bed Race last year
ORGANISERS of a famous madcap bed race through a North Yorkshire town have announced the teams for this year’s events.
The Great Knaresborough Bed Race is so popular that teams have to enter a lottery to win a place in the event, after the voluntary group behind the race capped entry numbers for safety reasons.
Knaresborough Lions Club held the draw for places in this year’s race at the town’s Working Men’s Club on March 5.
Ninety teams won places, and details are available online at www.bedrace.co.uk.
The 2014 race will take place on Saturday, June 14.
