A FLORAL tribute to The Beatles will be centre stage at the Harrogate Spring Flower Show.
The Yorkshire Flower Club is creating a major display featuring dozens of designs dedicated to John, Paul, George and Ringo and their most famous hits.
Central to their floral theme will be the iconic Yellow Submarine, along with the legendary Sergeant Pepper and hits such as Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane, Lady Madonna and Back In The USSR.
To mark the event at the Great Yorkshire Showground from April 25 to 28, tribute band The Upbeat Beatles have tried out guitars made from flowers and pass on a few tips about the fab four to Sandra Harder, chair of the Yorkshire Flower Club.
Ms Harder said: “After the success of our Olympic theme last year, we decided to honour the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ first album.”
