Harrogate Spring Flower Show has been rated the UK’s best gardening event by readers of the prestigious consumer magazine Which? Gardening.
Its sister event, the Harrogate Autumn Flower Show, also scored highly, coming a close third in the national poll to find the top ten gardening events recommended by more than 2,300 members of Which?
The spring show, taking place from April 25 to 28, scored 86 per cent as the event most people would recommend to others and attend again themselves.
The autumn show, which runs from September 13 to 15, scored 81 per cent with Which? members, who were wowed by its giant vegetable competition and flower displays.
Staged at the Great Yorkshire Showground, the twice-yearly flower shows attract nearly 100,000 visitors.
