A FIRE broke out in the cab of a sugar beet harvester at Yapham near Pocklington.
Humberside Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene at Melton Lane shortly before 10am yesterday.
Officers said the farmer had tackled the flames using a dry powder extinguisher before emergency crews arrived, and they were able to put the fire out.
