NEW charging points for electric-powered vehicles have been installed in Bridlington by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
The two charging points are located in the Palace car park in Quay Road, and have been co-funded by the council and Bridlington Town Council.
Councillor Chris Matthews, cabinet portfolio holder for infrastructure, highways and emergency planning, said: “The council is pleased to have plugged a gap along the East Coast.”
The council has also funded two more charging points in Hessle’s Swinegate car park and in the Hessle Town Hall car park in South Lane.
