£26,000 benefit fraud
AN EAST Yorkshire woman has been given a six-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months on condition she does 100 hours’ unpaid work after she admitted benefit fraud involving council tax benefit and income support by concealing more than £16,000 of her assets.
Sonja Davison, 52, of Eastgate View, Hornsea, was ordered by Beverley magistrates to pay £85 prosecution costs and must repay the £26,419.58.
