SCHOOLS in East Yorkshire can register to take part in a performing arts competition from tomorrow.
Entry for Rock Challenge, which is run by Humberside Police, is open from 6am on Wednesday, with the first events taking place at Bridlington Spa next March.
The following stages take place at Hull Arena and Grimsby Auditorium, and the competition is open to schools around the region.
Last year, almost 3,000 young people from 51 schools took part in six events, each creating an original eight-minute drama or dance to contemporary music, and organisers are also looking for local sponsors to sign up.
To find out more, or to pre-register, phone 02392 985710, or go to rockchallenge.co.uk to register from 6am on Wednesday.
