YOUNG people in East Yorkshire who are taking part in the Lifestyle competition have just weeks to return their entries.
The competition has seen thousands of young people work to improve their local communities throughout the summer holidays, for the chance to win prizes from the organisers, Humberside Police, which include a holiday to Disney World Florida.
Judith Cutts, from Humberside Police’s Youth Engagement team, is the primary judge, and said: “I am looking forward to starting the Lifestyle judging, as we finally get to hear about all the good work which has been going on throughout the summer, learning how Lifestylers have made a difference in their local communities in a wide variety of ways.”
“I am aware that some teams have been working hard to support local charities, assist those less fortunate and safeguarding by providing essentials for needy members of our community.”
Participants must return their Lifestyle projects before October 1 by dropping them into their local police stations clearly marked Lifestyle.
